Micro epiphanies

Sometimes when I'm drawing I have micro epiphanies. These little realizations I figure out that improve my craft. Lately it was brush size and the time I waste with a smaller brush before I finish blocking it in. I know they are silly mistakes, but I guess they I don't fully get why it's important until I see it applying itself.
