New portrait, new approach.

I started a sketchbook on conceptart.org and received a few comments and recommendations. One of the recommendations was working on my construction. I knew this to be true for a few months now and decided to work on it.

Courtesy of Deviantart.com I picked a new portrait to recreate. Using Loomis as a foundation I tried mostly to break down the image into basic forms. Once the forms were seen I started rendering.

I used red lines to illustrate the form and the goal I was trying to accomplish.
