Tackling Burne Hogarth

Burne Hogarth, challenge excepted!

I like the idea of starting with the torso and hips. I like throwing down the torso and fitting the hips. (forming the bent bean/pillow effect). I like the awkward position he puts the human form in. Normally hidden behind clothing, Hogarth helps show you the form beneath. He does't get explicit with the bone and muscle underneath, but instead shows you the form created and how it sits in deep space.

While replicating the images in the book I like to see if I can get it close to his version. Once I've achieved that, I like to do it again with modified parts. I really enjoy his perception of the human form.
