Post Bridgman...

After ripping through Bridgman's Complete Guide To Drawing From Life I had to test run it on something. And sure enough, huge improvement.
At first I tried to draw an old man in front of me but he kept moving. So I found a picture of the hulk done by one of my favorite artists and tried to see how I could apply Bridgman's technique to it, and create my own. Instead of thinking about the image as pure lines and making the perfect line, I had to see the figure as a 3d object in space. Breaking down the figure into smaller masses that interact with each other.
